Do you remember the first time leather purses hit the stores? I bought a ladies leather purse and it doesn’t brake at all. It was over thirty years ago that I bought it and was in high school at the time when these beautiful and durable purses hit the market and I was hooked! We use bags so much that we need them and isn’t considered accessories any more. We have to carry our make-up, keys, wallets, at least and where do we put all these things?In our purses, of course. Before leather bags we used the good old fashioned material bags. Don’t get me wrong these material purses were great! All we had to do was to wash them and they’d be good as new when we used them for our daily living. These were very good until it rained on you in public. We’d have to rush home, change our purses and clean everything we were carrying. This all changed when the leather bags came into fashion! We were all so happy and thrilled at the new material that lasted forever and we didn’t have to worry when it rained or even stormed!

One good thing about leather wallets, totes, bags, etc. is it’s ease in its care. It never needs ironing so you have time to do a lot more in life than worrying about ironing your totes! Leather has certain cremes, saddle soaps, mink oil and beeswax blends or suede kits that are easy to use. Let wet leather dry at room temperature and then use the treatment for leather to last you practically forever.

My first womens leather purse that I proudly used to school everyday that were three pieces of leather sewn together till its predecessor, of today it is about any color you can imagine, any size, used for computers as well as bags and you can go anywhere with them! The world awaits the next phase where leather will go. We have leather everything these days and loving it too!
